Hi, My name is Jo.
I specialise in breeding quality 100% genuine Australian labradoodles, they possess none shedding wavy fleece coats, with good confirmation, sound temperament and confident sweet loving natures . I am Defra approved, vet inspected and currently hold a 5 star licence with my local authority.
Together with my husband(Lee) we are bespoke breeders of these adorable, soft, cuddly, teddy bear like dogs.
Located in England within the county of South Yorkshire, we are a mere 10 minute walk from one of its historic stately homes and surrounding acres of parkland, its one of the areas that we walk our dogs and they love it here.
Having over 30 years experience in breeding we make every effort to ensure that all our puppies have the very best start in life and grow up to be healthy, happy adults. We carry out extensive health tests on all of our dogs and only use health tested stud dogs with the right qualities that we would want our baby labradoodles to inherit.
All our Australian labradoodles live INDOORS and our puppies are reared surrounded by the hustle and bustle of our home.
As a child i was never allowed a dog my mum always used to say “you can have as many dogs as you like when you get your own house” and wow have i made up for it! i never knew just how much you could love a dog or how much they would love YOU and the absolute joy that they bring into your life.
After we got married and our children were small we wanted them to experience life with animals, teach them how to look after them and learn boundaries when around them. Letting them hold young puppies and play with them is an experience they have never forgotton, creating a bond with such a small creature and the happiness it brought them are memories we all will treasure and now we are blessed to be repeating our history with our grandchildren. Its so important for humans {big and small} and dogs to learn to live together harmoniously in a warm, safe environment and mould them into confident, well behaved , socialized puppies.
In my early 30,s i was fortunate enough to experience another dream from my childhood of owning a horse, our girls were so excited, learning to ride was just what you did at a riding school not at home! As it turned out our eldest daughter was more the “horsey one” she took a real interest in both learning to ride and look after him so much so she went in the army and joined the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillary doing all the ceremonial duties for the Queen. Within 4 years of being an equine owner i developed an allergy and became allergic to all things animal,hair and dust related. That is how the start of breeding non allergenic dogs came to fruition. Years went by and after more research into non shedding type dogs the Australian labradoodle kept coming to the fore. Not only are they non shedding but also make great therapy, emotional support or service dogs and due to the different breeds within their ancestry are highly intelligent,gentle, loyal and sociable. After 2 years searching In 2019 we finally found Jasmine, going back in her ancestory she has Tegan Park and Rutland Manor proving her to be authentic.
